Melva Peters Friday, June 13,2014 | The PHER FHIR PSS has been updated to reflect that the work is related to updates to existing FHIR resources and possible creation of profiles/extensions. http://gforge.hl7.org/gf/project/desd/scmsvn/?action=browse&path=%2Ftrunk%2FDocuments%2FProjectScopeStatements%2F2014%2FHL7%2520FHIR%2520Project%2520Scope%2520Statement%2520v2013.1_FHIR_Immunization_2014June.doc&sortby=date&view=log |
Melva Peters Wednesday, May 28, 2014 | A PSS is required for any work that you are doing as a WG. Your initial PSS for FHIR resources likely only included the work for the initial DSTU. Any subsequent work will need a new PSS. |
Joginder Madra Wednesday, May 28, 2014 | This PSS was created after our FHIR joint session in Phoenix. Our understanding of the DSTU 2 process: http://wiki.hl7.org/index.php?title=FHIR_Ballot_Prep. Additionally, as we believe this represents an additional set of activities - primarily updates to resources based on DSTU comments to date as well as new quality requirements for DSTU 2 - we felt a new PSS was warranted. |
Elaine Ayres Wednesday, May 28, 2014 | I was not aware that we needed PSS statements for moving resources into the DSTU ballot. If that is so, then we need a larger discussion about FHIR processes. The FHIR group told us that if a resource is used by the community, then they would move it forward. What is the purpose of designating specific resources and should we all be moving in this direction? Thanks |
Joginder Madra Wednesday, May 28, 2014 | Elaine, this PSS is for moving the existing resources into the second DSTU ballot |
Elaine Ayres Wednesday, May 28, 2014 | This PSS is for two FHIR resources that already exist - Immunization and Immunization Recommnedation. Does PHER intend this as a profile PSS, or is this a maintenance PSS for these two existing resources. If these are two new distinct resources, the difference from the current resources needs to be made clear. |
