The Involvement Task Force (ITF) was formed as one of the "transition teams" in HL7. The purpose of the ITF is to "Develop a strategy for ensuring an ongoing healthy and effective body of involved participants in HL7 standards development efforts."

The ITF also haa a laundry list of deliverables we were tasked with and still are wading through some. It seems likely that the only way we can continually nurture and support involvement is for an ongoing role to be established somewhere in the technical organization.

The key issue here is to find an appropriate home for this activity.
