What is measured?

What is measured? The activities count the bold headings on the grid, namely:

• Active projects – if less than 1, the count is incremented. Active projects are approved projects in active status with resources working on them
• SWOT and 3 Year plan – if not present, the count is incremented
• Minutes posted since last WGM – whether at the HL7 web site or at the location pointed to from the Web site (e.g. on the Wiki), if not present the ount is incremented. Posted minutes of the last WGM are counted although a better demonstration of WGH is to have posted minutes of conference calls occurring between WGMs.
• Wiki and GForge presence – if not present, the count is incremented
• Last list serv activity – if no activity has occurred on the list serv since the last WGM, the count is incremented
• WG CC Scheduled – if the Work Group has not scheduled any conference calls since the last WGM, the count is incremented (I validate using our conference calling service records whether calls were actually conducted, in addition to whether they were scheduled, as well)
  • Suggested enhancement at TSC WGH Metrics Tracker # 1645, that attendance at conference calls be compared as a ratio against listserv subscribers to note participation.
• SD CC Participation – if the Work Group did not have representation attending at least half of the Steering Division conference calls since the last WGM, the count is incremented - for DESD the participation in online Doodle voting is measured as they do not convene conference calls...
  • Suggested enhancement at TSC WGH Metrics Tracker # 1572, that attendance at Steering Division Face-to-Face meetings at the Working Group Meeting should be measured as a separate metric.
• Steering Division co-chair (TSC Representative) Election Participation – if the Work Group did not cast a vote for their Steering Division co-chair, i.e. representative of the Steering Division to the TSC, the count is incremented
• WGM scheduled – if the Work Group did not schedule any meetings in person at the WGM, the count is incremented.
  • Suggested enhancement at TSC WGH Metrics Tracker # 1569, to decouple WGM attendance from out-of-cycle meetings, that meetings conducted Out-of-Cycle be counted separately from (or not counted as) WGM attendance.

Key:

• 0-3: Green light
• 4-7: Yellow light
• 8+ : Red light
