This is an artificial constraint that does not reflect traditional practice. I don't want to see bee sting allergy in my problem list. It belongs in the allergy list in the EMR. It only becomes a problem (or health condition if you are following the debate) if a health care provider chooses to put it on the problem list for active management

Latex, Nickle, fabric, and other substances are important allergies. Making the artificial distinctions is not acceptable. We also don't know why Emergency Care was not considered an interested party.
